Paul has passed away
This is not Paul but his other half.
I am sorry to be telling everyone that Paul passed away on 5/30/18. He was in the hospital with heart problems and his heart failed.
I did not know he had a blog - this is the first time I have ever been on one. I do not know how to close out a blog, and I am not on the computer but maybe once a week. So if anyone can tell me how to shut the blog down I would appreciate the information.

Welcome to Riccelli Yacht Design.
I strive to develop simple and elegant shapes, that are robust enough to handle the needs of the owner, without being overly heavy or costly. Many of the designs here, are intended for the home builder and reflect the needs of the crafter, having a build that goes together easily. The margin of safety that may be necessary, for the less than production line facilities, often found in a backyard build, is always kept in mind during the process. The results are stout, easy to build yachts with surprising performance.
The tab bar above, has several designs to offer you an idea of what's available, plus some handy and helpful information, that any builder or prospective builder, might need. I have many more designs available, from commercial working craft to large pleasure craft. The design offerings run a full range from 8' (2.4 m) yacht tenders that can carry a healthy load, to a world cruising 135' (41 m) ketch. Now, some aren't appropriate for a backyard build, but quite a few are, so contact me if you need something unique, I might have something "in the drawer" that fits or can be easily altered to suit your needs.
